Session 3 of my fab ult game has finally fired after 11 fucking weeks. We could only do a half-session again because one of the players had to wake up early tomorrow but that's fine, what matters is that we could actually get the fucking ball rolling again. Most of the session wound up just being travel, which was certainly eventful. And by that I mean they rolled danger all four times. I didn't do any combat encounters during the travel because the dungeon is just three fights in a row (can't exactly pillage and loot the home of the people you're helping), so it was all just a variety of checks that they all did well with. Or at least on the ones that mattered. Not much else to today, just dying in some StS2 runs after the session. I think in both of the runs the main problem was just deckbuilding, not helped by some unlucky draws. As long as I have a general idea of what I'm doing wrong I'm not really upset with things.
